At Note Culture Music School, we believe music has the power to inspire confidence, creativity, and lifelong growth. Our instructors are passionate musicians who love helping students discover and develop their unique musical abilities. Through personalized, one-on-one lessons, we tailor each student’s experience to their goals, interests, and skill level. Whether someone is picking up an instrument for the first time or building advanced skills, our mission is to create a supportive environment where every student can learn, grow, and enjoy the journey of making music.

Brandon Clark

Drums, Percussion, Guitar, Bass Instructor, Owner & Director

Brandon grew up in west Texas, and fell in love with music at a young age. He had already begun learning guitar by the time he started percussion & drums at school. He played on the drumline and in jazz band in high school, while also playing guitar & drums at church. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University, and while based in Lubbock played in a worship band that traveled all over the southern U.S. leading for various events. He has experience in songwriting & arranging, and studio session work. He and his lovely wife Leah have three kids – Nala, Cooper, & Quinn. Leah serves as the music school’s COO and oversees the school’s summer camp programming, and many other things behind the scenes.

Brandon is also involved at Tribes Church here in Argyle. His goals as a teacher are to ensure that his lessons are tailored to each student meeting them where they’re at developmentally, and to have fun along the path of progression. He deeply enjoys seeing students fall in love with music, and guiding them to become proficient musicians who truly enjoy playing & learning. When he’s not at the school, he enjoys spending time with his family, endurance running, hiking, and playing games.

McCaa Clancy

Voice, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele Instructor

 

McCaa graduated from the University of North Texas in May of 2025 with a Bachelor of Arts in Music. With a rich background in vocal performance, choral singing, and musical theatre, she’s loved the stage from a young age. With over ten years of vocal experience, she’s passionate about the art of singing. McCaa also has experience playing and teaching piano, guitar and ukulele, and she complements her vocal background with a well-rounded, multi-instrumental approach to teaching. With a focus on both technical skill-building and creative expression, she aims to inspire a lifelong love for music in her students, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive as young musicians.

Above all, McCaa is deeply invested in her students’ growth as musicians and individuals. She values the relationships built through shared artistry and considers it a privilege to guide each student’s musical journey. When she’s not in rehearsals, practicing, or teaching, McCaa loves to cook, write poetry and spend time with her friends and family.

Valeria Tuesta

Violin, Viola, Voice, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele Instructor

Valeria is a student at the University of North Texas and is pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education with a concentration in violin. Valeria grew up in San Antonio, Texas and has spent ten years playing violin. She also has an extensive background in vocal studies and musical theater. She’s a very talented multi-instrumentalist.

As a music educator, Valeria hopes to give her students a deeper understanding of their musical potential and encourage a love and passion for the arts. During her free time Valeria likes to paint and decorate her room with plants, flowers and lots of pictures of her family and friends.

Mattison Beezley

Voice, Piano Instructor

Mattison is a student at the University of North Texas pursuing a double major in Music Education and Vocal Performance. Mattison was born and raised in Grapevine, Texas and has been involved in choir since she was eleven and has played piano since age thirteen. While in college, she has had many singing opportunities such as singing with the UNT A Cappella Choir. She gigs professionally around the DFW Metroplex with groups such as the Highland Park Chorale and the Dallas Symphony Chorus.

As a music educator, Mattison values building strong relationships with all of her students and furthering their musical excellence. She wants her students to thrive not just musically, but as a person. She believes it is a privilege to foster the next generation of musicians. In her lessons, she focuses on technical components such as aural skills and music theory, while also building musical intuitiveness and creativity.

Outside of teaching, Mattison enjoys doing pilates, endurance running, traveling and spending quality time with friends, family and her cat, Kirby!

Liz Feldman

Drums, Percussion, Piano, Voice Instructor

Elizabeth (“Liz”) is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in percussion and a business minor at the University of North Texas. With over ten years of percussion experience, along with studies in piano and participation in the UNT choir, Liz enjoys exploring many areas of music and sharing that passion with her students.

Liz marched with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps and has spent multiple years teaching marching drumline at local high schools in the DFW area. Her top priority as a teacher is helping students feel confident, supported, and excited to grow through fun and interactive lessons. When she’s not teaching or practicing, Liz enjoys spending time with her fluffy cat Queso, listening to music, and trying out new recipes with friends!

Robbie Heaton

Bass, Upright, Guitar, Voice Instructor

Robbie is a current student at the University of North Texas pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science in Event Design and Experience Management. He has over twelve years of musical experience ranging from guitar and bass guitar to musical theatre and digital production. He strives to share his passion for music with the next generation of musicians and make the arts accessible to all people.

Outside of teaching, he is the president of UNT’s Mean Dynamics, a student a cappella group that performs around Denton and the greater DFW area. He enjoys reading, playing board games, and cooking for his friends and family!

Cooper Straubmueller

Guitar, Piano Instructor

Cooper graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in May of 2025 with his bachelor’s degree in Music, with a focus on Sound Recording Technology. He began playing the guitar at age fifteen and eventually grew interest in the recording arts, leading to his studies in Nacogdoches, TX. There, he deepened his musical studies and broadened his instrumental skills, retaining focus on production and audio engineering. He has worked as an engineer for a church in his hometown of Argyle and assistant engineer for a music producer in Austin, TX.

Cooper loves to travel and adventure, always bringing at least one guitar with him wherever he has gone. He has lived in Montana, Colorado, and multiple areas of Texas, doing work as a ranch hand, electrician, music teacher, music producer, and audio engineer. His life experiences help him bring a balanced and passionate approach to his musical instruction.

Blain Laumer

Piano, Percussion, Clarinet, Saxophone Instructor

Blain Laumer graduated with a degree in music education from the University of North Texas. He is a multi-instrumentalist versed in many wind & brass disciplines as well as piano & percussion. During his time at UNT, he studied clarinet under Daryl Coad and performed with top ensembles, including the Wind Orchestra and Wind Ensemble. Blain completed his student teaching at Ponder ISD, where he worked daily with middle school and high school ensembles, assisted with UIL preparations, and taught beginner classes on clarinet, saxophone, and flute. He continues to work with them and lead summer marching band sectionals.

During his students’ lessons, Blain focuses on developing strong fundamentals, consistent practice habits, and musical confidence. His goal is to provide clear instruction in a supportive setting, helping each student progress steadily while building a lifelong appreciation for music. Outside of teaching, Blain can usually be found hunting down good coffee or convincing his cat that practice time doesn’t require audience participation.
