Brandon grew up in west Texas, and fell in love with music at a young age. He had already begun learning guitar by the time he started percussion & drums at school. He played on the drumline and in jazz band in high school, while also playing guitar at church. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Texas Tech University, and while in Lubbock played in a worship band that traveled all over the southern U.S. leading for various events. He has experience in songwriting & arranging, and studio session work. He and his lovely wife Leah have three little ones – Nala, Cooper, & Quinn. Leah serves as the music school’s COO and oversees the school’s summer camp programming.
Brandon also serves as the worship leader at Tribes Church here in Argyle. His goals as a teacher are to ensure that his lessons are tailored to each student meeting them where they’re at developmentally, and to have fun along the path of progression. He deeply enjoys seeing students fall in love with music, and guiding them to become proficient musicians who truly enjoy playing & learning.
When he’s not at the school, he enjoys spending time with his family, endurance running, hiking, and playing games.
